With Summer just around the corner, we are exposed to summer storms that may cause wind, siding, hail and tree damage to your home or business. FireDEX Pittsburgh is prepared to handle this type of damage and help you get back to normal as quickly as possible. If you experience tree damage, here’s some information to guide you on your way through the restoration process. FIRST – you will want to have a reputable tree company remove the tree from the structure. Talk with your insurance representative about coverage for this type of damage. It’s not a given that coverage may be available to you for the removal so it’s important to speak with your insurance company since all policies differ, your neighbor may be covered but you may not, so before you contract with a tree company, cover your bases and know for sure if YOU are responsible for the cost of the removal. SECOND – call FireDEX Pittsburgh, once the tree is removed we can start the restoration process by performing emergency services by tarping a roof and stabilizing the structure and prevent further damage to the interior of the home or business and your personal belongings.
